A history book in screen bites.

historically correct

Your group has to convince the publishers that you are competent as far as the historical material is concerned – obviously.  You have to be able to find material, sort the reliable stuff from the rubbish, and give references to your sources.

easy to read

You also have to show them that you know how to present your material – write in a way that is easy to understand for students, and exploit the possibilities of writing for the web.

one bite at a time

One of the things your group has decided to use as a concept is

"teen bites are screen bites".

You believe the teenage mind (anyone under 30) is the only one adapted to working on the computer, but that even they cannot absorb more than a screenful of text at a time.  So none of your texts uses the scroll function!
